I can start a first point of conversation up! Uniform ... If anyone has anything they can share with new parents then feel free to ... A couple of points I personally can offer: * my daughter (just going into Year 10) has never worn the Rugby shirt that I bought her ready for starting in Year 7, and I know that a number of other parents of girls have experienced the same! I am lucky in that I can now pass the same Rugby shirt onto my son as he starts this September, but if you have a girl starting this year, it may be a cost that you could postpone for a while or totally avoid! ** my daughter had the embroidered CWLC blouses the first year they came out - they are very expensive and are a nightmare to iron! When I needed to replace them, on the advice of another Mum, I bought Tescos own Girls rever collar white blouses (they come in a pack of 2) - they wash/iron and wear brilliantly, and are an absolute fraction of the price of the embroidered ones ... and the best thing is that they are completely acceptable by the school. :)
