I cannot believe that Robin Williams has died. It goes without saying that I have never personally met the man but, for as long as I can remember this man has been in my life, not only had his talent touched millions, but he had been an insightful, vocal warrior for people with depression. Without people like Robin Williams, people like me would feel all the more isolated and would certainly never have the courage to admit that we to have the same or similar issue. Depression is completely overwhelming and at times it appears as though you will be crushed under its weight, however when you emerge out of the darkness and see the sun, almost as if it is for the very first time. I wish that Robin had seen the sun again.
