I cannot let this day go without telling all my friends, to get their Mammograms, if you dont have insurance, pay cash mine are $130.00 a year w/o insurance. If you cannot afford that there are so many programs out there, the YWCA has a great program. My chosen sister Selina Beck, wouldnt get checked because of no insurance, she had all the indicators for cancer, history on both sides of her family, mother and both grandmothers cancer survivors, G- father died of bone cancer, her father a cancer survivor. The night before she finally went to get tested she had me feel a lump under her nipple, I would say the size of an egg!!! She had been severe spinal pain for more than a year, at this time. The next day she ended up in the emergency room in severe pain, she was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer that had spread to her spine, eventually, it took her eyesight, her ability to speak. If she would have had yearly mammograms, her chances of survival, would have quadrupled!!!! Please, please, please get your mammograms each year, guys, make sure your women get it done!!! Guys check them yourselves monthly, feel em up good LOL!!! I hope that I didnt loose anyone halfway thru!!!! Everyone please get your yearly checkups, if not for yourself, for your loved ones!!!
