I cannot tell you the name of this Israeli leader, but I can tell - TopicsExpress

I cannot tell you the name of this Israeli leader, but I can tell you what he told me Dear Miguel, Over breakfast with a very powerful leader in Israel (I cannot say his name, but he and I have been friends for 30 years), I was told: “Iran will cross the red line in a matter of weeks. They now have thousands of centrifuges spinning in a virtually impenetrable facility near Qom. The more time elapses, the more it becomes a zero-sum game. We are distributing gas masks to the population and preparing bomb shelters.” He continued, “Your president is spending all his time and force attacking us. He is saying he does not trust us, and he downgraded our joint military exercise last year. And while Iran threatens to exterminate us daily, your top military officer says the US does not want to be ‘complicit’ in an attack on Iran. The mullahs are dancing in the streets of Tehran. “We may have to stand against the entire world. If we dont, our children will experience Armageddon...and yours will, too, in another decade. What will the world do when there are dozens of atomic reactors in the 200-mile gulf region and more than 1.7 billion Shiite and Sunni Muslims trying to usher in the Islamic messiah?” It is now more important than ever that we stand with Israel as the looming threat of war grows closer by the day. And there is something very important that we can do together today. The work that we have done in Jerusalem with renovating the massive bomb shelter there into a community center for Holocaust survivors has been a witness to the entire nation. Because of that demonstration of compassion, others have requested our help. Many Holocaust survivors in Israel have no permanent residence; others live in tiny, dilapidated apartments that are in terrible condition. These precious people who have endured so much pain, suffering, and loss urgently need help with housing. They also need help with food, clothing, and transportation for things like medical appointments. In short, we have been asked to transform the lives of these precious people. Of course, as you know we are in the final push to pay for the Righteous Gentile Heritage Center. We cannot stop work on this great lighthouse of true Christian love…but neither can we close our ears and our hearts to this plea for help. What we are able to do to meet this need will be determined by the response of our Jerusalem Prayer Team members—generous and loving friends like you. If you give as God leads, we will be able to make a huge impact on this great need…and more important, we will be able to show true Christian love to the Holocaust survivors and the whole house of Israel. We must make the next payment of $450,000 on November 30. Thanks to the incredible generosity of a dear friend of this work and Israel, we have a matching gift challenge that will double the impact of your gift today. That means we must raise $225,000 in the next four weeks. So far 1,490 friends have given $121,045. That means we still need $103,955.
