I cannot understand all the fanaticism and hoopla over the upcoming birth of England’s “Royal” baby. Don’t get me wrong, I love the birth of all babies. It is one of the grandest things in the universe. But in the eyes of God all babies are royal babies because he loves them all. I don’t want an earthly King or Queen to rule over me and I don’t understand why anyone else does. It was never God’s intent for his people to have an earthly King or even a president who acts like a King to rule over them. God gave them earthly Kings because they demanded them - they wanted to be just like all the other nations around them. God wanted his people to let Him be their King, but NO they would have none of that. Well, you see where things have ended up now with monarchs, dictators and presidents who act like kings. Without the watchful eye of the people most of them turn into godless, evil rulers. Our government was begun to allow the people to rule themselves with God as their true King, but look what is happening in the USA. A large percentage of the people want a King and I actually believe that many would choose Obama as their King. This is all foolishness and it is because of the vast number of ignorant people in the USA who have no idea where things are headed if we continue down this road of stupidity we are on today. Many have elevated the office of president to the level of a King – how stupid. If the people don’t stop this foolishness by voting out of office all these godless fools we have for leaders we will all regret it because we will find ourselves under the iron fist of tyrants. I pray that God will wake us up before it is too late. I can’t wait for my heavenly King Jesus to return to earth and rule because his kingdom will last forever and it will be just and righteous. Why can’t people understand the depravity of man?
