I cant begin to express the pride I have in NBC40. Sure, the cast and crew has constantly evolved over the decades, and certainly in my eleven plus years at the best little hometown, community-minded station in the country! But no matter the list of names in the credits, the staffs diligence and professionalism was always illustrated in each and every newscast. No one ever got rich at NBC40, the technology was and is far from current, but the final product has always made me proud! Many of my best professional and personal memories were a result of the one and only South Jersey News Channel. A sincere thanks to Alyson Scofield, Phaedra Laird, Brandon Longo, Ben Carotenuto, and all that worked on the one-hour special News Center 40, The Stories Behind the Station. An incredible job of writing, filming, and editing by all on a product that brought both smiles and tears to my face during this reflective time.
