I cant believe its already Friday. For the past couple of days, I have been on Fort Leonard Wood helping a gal who is trying to capture a 7 month old puppy that has been running loose and living in the woods for 3 months. The owners were military and moved out of state and had to leave their dog behind because they couldnt catch him. He is very fearful and we cannot get near him. He still has part of his leash dangling from his collar, what is left of it anyway. I know what it is like to sit in the woods by yourself every night, so I couldnt let her be do it alone. He is very scared and will not go close at all to the live trap or the drop trap. The gal trying to catch him is very persistent though, so I am sure she will prevail! My kind of people. So I have put Dover off a couple nights to help catch the little guy. If she hasnt got him by today, I will go back there tonight. I am afraid of the dark and so is she, so we make quite the pair. Lol. I have put the cameras in different areas to watch for kitty traffic. There hasnt been any animals on them. Not even a kitty. I am trying to eliminate areas of interest so I can narrow my search range down. There are too many trees to find a Dover in the woods. I am doing door to door all weekend starting tomorrow morning. It is time that somebody tells me, Yup. I have seen him. By the way, thank you to everybody who encourages me and gives me the energy to keep going. This is really hard, and with everybody rooting for Dover and I, it does make it a bit easier. Just wanted to say thanks.
