I cant believe its been ONE YEAR since I resigned. After working for over 22 years it seems as though this job is the one that I have had the biggest learning curve with. I know that sounds a bit dramatic but its the truth. I always prided myself on my work ethic, dedication, passion and enthusiasm. I thought since I ran a therapeutic foster care program and worked at CYS, this would be easy. Yet, I continue to struggle with meeting the demands and being able to feel accomplished with staying at home. I have a lot of things skills I still need to hoan but at least my kids have socks in their drawers and my stress level has DECREASED immensely and that in itself is PRICELESS! I continue to be thankful for this opportunity and Ill wait for my 12 month evaluation in the laundry room! Until then Ill continue to be a Stay at home Mom with a Masters Degree. 😄🏡🌻📜⏳
