I cant go any further today without extending Mothers Day greeting to all mothers past, present, and future. I call this the mother of all holidays. Its a day when all of us as men will either be reaching out in acts of gratitude to our mothers or to our wives because we are so grateful for the sacrifices they have made. We understand that it is the father who produced the seed, it is the woman who must give birth to it. After the fall in the garden of Eden, Adam call his wife Eve. Eve means life spring or life giver. He said this because of what God said about her. That she would bring forth. She would give birth in sorrow. It is interesting how in the beginning God brought the woman out of the man, but then from that point forward, every man has come out of the woman. My wife was raised by a woman who never had children, but who raised several children. She gave life without life coming directly from her womb. Thank God for every woman who has taken on the responsibility to nurture and sacrifice her life to give life to others. So today we honor every woman because within you you have the ability to bring forth life.
