I cant pick on Bible translations because feelings get hurt. But - TopicsExpress

I cant pick on Bible translations because feelings get hurt. But I can post dozens of verses in their intended form so you can see just how corrupt those translations are. Sound like fun? Heres a good place to start, 1 John 4:2. It should say: Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: This verse is so highly important because it is our test of spirits. Thats HUGE in this spiritual battle we are currently in. But what if your Bible has the wrong test? Well? Go look. It should say Christ IS come in the flesh not has come Everyone HAS come in the flesh, but Christ exclusively IS come. Subtle but dangerously deceptive alteration that 80% of bibles have made. Ok, how about Philippians 2:6. Speaking of Jesus... Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: People love to defend the improper rendition of this verse, which says, who, although He existed in the form of God, did not regard equality with God a thing to be grasped, So Jesus did not consider equality with God a thing to be grasped? That is very interesting because the same bibles that improperly translate that verse as such also have this verse: This was why the Jews were seeking all the more to kill him, because not only was he breaking the Sabbath, but he was even calling God his own Father, making himself equal with God. John 5:18 So nearly ALL translations say He did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped, but then they ALSO say He made Himself equal with God. ONLY ONE major translation gets this right. Should we do more? (which is an interesting question, because how many corrupt verses do you need before you realize a sinister plan at work?) No Bible is perfect in the sense that typographical content hasnt been tainted due to human error. BUT when DOCTRINAL matters have been tampered with on numerous occasions within one body of text, doesnt that speak to your spirit? Or lets look at it like this, if we just accept a few harmless errors in todays versions, what future harmless errors will be present in tomorrows? If we give them an inch will they not take a mile? If we allow today, what will the bible look like in 5 years? But let us continue with one more. Acts 8:37 And Philip said, If thou believest with all thine heart, thou mayest. And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. What a powerful verse! I could see why satan doesnt want this one in there. Unfortunately, chances are your bible doesnt include this magnificent confession of faith. And the arguments as to why they omit them are as ridiculous as denying the truth of the verse itself! I suppose if one used a tad bit of discernment itd be easy to see that satan attacks Gods Word with a purpose. It does make sense that hed do that, doesnt it? Well, there are 100s and 100s of changed, deleted, and perverted passages in nearly every so-called modern bible translation. And yet there is only one translation that does not have a copyright attached to it (unless maps or notes are included) You see, a copyright allows the controlled distribution of any given translation, and that translates into dollars. There is power in the corrupted Bibles, and salvation can come through them, no doubt about it. But dont you want the purest and most protected available? Any red flags going up at all? How many updates and new versions of Gods Word do we need? Why do they continue to come out? Doesnt God know what He wants to say the first time? Doesnt God have the ability to preserve His Word and make it readily available to the World? I certainly think so. I know so. But instead of going through a few dozen more perverted texts, I will leave you with a verse that has a lovely conveyance. And I pray you will dig on your own to see just how deep the deception goes. There is no reason to divide over such matters, but cause for concern should be on our minds. If we give them an inch.... Ecclesiastes 8:4 Where the word of a king is, there is power: and who may say unto him, What doest thou?
