I cant remember how many times I walked up and down the stairs - TopicsExpress

I cant remember how many times I walked up and down the stairs today.... too many. But at least, and at last, everything has come back to normal in my place of work (we shall see for how long, shhhhhh). One of the studios in the club was out of use for the last three weeks due to a blocked drain (long story) and we had to find space in the building to accommodate Aikido, Ninjitsu, yoga and the Osteo class. That happened to be the stretching part of the fitness room and that meant we had to take all the equipment out of it and put it somewhere else. Anyway, long story cut short, its all back to where it should be now but I do feel a bit drained. I power walked home again just to destress a bit plus its been a beautiful September day today, and now Im waiting for my Indian dinner :). Todays #fitfotowyzwanies topic is sport and I associate sport with discipline, talent and fair play. Ive never been a very sporty person. Team games always put me off. Back in school I liked 100 and 200 meters racing but that was it. I do like to be active and I can train hard but SPORT is different. Im posting the video below because this is one of my favourite disciplines in the winter Olympics. You cant cheat in figure skating, can you? There is no illegal substance you could take to make you be better, to win the first place. Its all about hours of hard work, on a daily basis, determination and sheer talent. In terms of figure skating, I have never seen more grace, effortlessness and beauty than in this video. And I can admit that Im a bit obsessed with these two below. Theyve been dancing together for 17 years... By the way, my dinner has just arrived :). Have a good evening x.
