I cant think of a better place to post my waking thought: Man has begun again in recent years to raise a golden idol. This time, in his arrogance, it is himself. Man has actually come to believe that his atoms have conjoined over the eons, breathed life into into themselves, and formed themselves into conscious living beings. They glorify themselves, and, now, have the audacity to declare, through their science of humdrum, emotionless, imaginationless, factual data there is no God; A more than simple minded, two dimensional existence. I would prefer to believe in the sun and moon gods of the Stonehenge era than to believe in that egotistical drivel. Just the mere thought about the process of thinking coming from a mass of somehow charged brain cells inside this body is enough to give us pause. Much less, when you consider there are a billion of us living on a planet no larger than a grain of sand, or better yet, an atom when compare to the solar system, never mind the galaxy or the universe. Yet, there is a universe within as well as without. To believe in nothing but Poof, there it is! is just for imbeciles. Some may not like how others embrace their creator, and some are jealous of a believers belief in something other than this existence. Most of us were brought up believing in a greater power. Because the founders of this great nation, mostly Christians, and the occasional Jew, wanted free thought to be a part of the future of the citizenry, added a freedom of, not from, religion clause. I am offended by the atheists attempting to dominate all with their simple minded superiority complex. The blind leading the blind is never more evident. Well, now that Ive all but exhausted this line of thought, and my train has almost derailed, Ill get to the point: No one is forcing anyone to watch anything on the television. This is considered public domain with advertisers footing the bill. I would suggest to my brother Christians, of Duck Dynasty fame, change sponsors, if they try to change you. Ill support whomever supports your freedom to preach on your show. To those offended by the word of God being preached on a family program, If you dont like the program, please feel free to change the channel, but, how dare you speak for me and mine, when you have nothing to believe in but your own pitiful non-excusable reason for being! Oh, and, by the way, my God is your God, He loves you as His creation and His offspring whether or not you believe. I choose to believe in Him, and His son, and His Holy Spirit, especially as He gives me the freedom to choose, or not. You, on the other hand, along with this new concept of government, congressional, judicial and presidential, leaves me with a feeling of hopelessness for the future of the United States of America. No Brave New World here: Scarey is more like it! (Whew! You actually made it all the way here, didnt you?)
