I choose my friends and close acquaintances VERY closely!! I do NOT trust everyone that I meet. I am wiser and older than Ive ever been.....After studyin people for a lifetime, Ive learned this.....whether it be family or friend! A true and loyal friend or family member will NEVER believe something evil of you, if they are told by someone. They will KNOW that it is not true, because they KNOW you....... IF you must continually defend your good name, and fight for honor with them....., its time to move on.......because they are NOT your friend. If I am someones friend, OR family member.....and another person comes to me wantin to bad mouth or gossip about them, to me......I WILL defend them......no questions asked......dont want to hear it!!!! End of that statement.... And IF I think that my friend or family member MAY have made a mistake, OR done something wrong.....I will go to them, and talk to them....finding out the WHOLE truth, before it goes one step further.......IF they have done something wrong, then I will try to steer them back into line with the WORD of GOD.......but I will NEVER be a part of stabbin them in the back by airing their dirty laundry in public..... I know when to stay, and likewise, I know when to move on.......and with GODs help, I am strong enough to do either!!! And YES, it is Biblical..... I dont have to defend myself, you see, GOD says HE will do it for me!! And HEs proved that to me....many times over....HE is my friend. So IF you find yourself, questioning the faithfulness, and truthfulness of a friendship..........then youd best find yourself some REAL friends......CHRISTian ones who UNDERSTANDS what a real friend in CHRIST is..... I answer to GOD, alone......
