I concur with this note from WxSouth! For you Snow lovers, our time is coming up. I have oetnally mentioned that I feel we will see some significant wintry weather by Valentines day. To make a long story short, and to put it in layman terms...the storm that is about to clobber the Northeast will help set up blocking and will steer the cold to our region (the Southeast/Carolinas) and when the coldeets with moisture from the GOM (Gulf of Mexico) then BOOM! Do not lose faith...the snow will come! I know it has been a BORING winter so far, but just remember...it can snow WELL INTO MARCH around here. Google the winter of 1960. That winter, it snowed EVERY single week the entire month of March and there was a constant snow pack on the ground of a few inches. Have a good start to the week folks!
