I confess. I just did something truly reprehensible, and, yet, Ive been planning a very holy status update. I am at home alone (thats actually a praise!), watching the news. The anchor just announced that another American fighting FOR ISIS has been killed. I said, Good. Out loud. To myself. I am ashamed. Id been planning to post on Facebook a call to pray for those who persecute us. We Christians should be jumping in front of bullets because we have nothing to lose. The militants are deceived. Lost. Without hope. I dont want to go political, and I entirely support Israel in her endeavor to EXIST. The situation to which I refer is the forced spread of a violent religion that brings intolerance to its hideous zenith. But, Jesus specifically and without reservation called His followers to pray for those who hate us. Now, my self has gotten in the way. I think that call to prayer I planned to issue needs to be turned inward...
