Those lines are from Sidewalk Prophets song, Show Me How To Love, which Ive pretty much identified as the theme song for SafeHouse. Listen to that song if you get the chance, its really good. In the song, the singer is asking God to show him how to love, and in the bridge, he says, Start with me, Lord!! I couldnt think of a better song to describe SafeHouse than that. We went there to minister to them, yes, but we also went there to show a little love to the homeless, since a few of us have been a bit blind to their struggles. Maybe we all should be asking God what the singer did. Show us how to love, and we need Him to start with us. Try and show a little love to as what Curt would call, the least, the last, and the lost. Not just the homeless, but everyone out there that fits that description. Ask God to show you how to love, and ask Him to start with you.
