I confess to being a fan, and in my case it IS short for fanatic, of pretty much everything 30s and 40s;. Frank Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald, Judy Garland, and those still with us like Tony Bennett, and those carrying on the tradition like Michael Bublé. The other day on the radio i was listening to, I think NPR (NO, Im not turning in my conservative card) and Idina Menzel, who sings on Frozen, was doing an interview talking about a collaboration she was doing with Michael Buble. The song they were talking about was Baby Its Cold Outside (Frank Loesser, 1944) so when I saw it on YouTube (Is there anything NOT on You Tube?) I had to click into it. The video is laid out like a 1940s Warner Brothers movie and...well; you just have to see it.
