I could have used one of these... One of ours showed symptoms of weak kid/legs syndrome and though we were new at homesteading, we immediately check out YouTube and many sites online and learned how to help the little guy. It was cold, snowed, so I held him in my arms, exercised his legs, submerged his body in warn water and kept giving him colostrum. He made a fast recovery. He was fine within 24 hours. But hearing him scream in pain and falling down each time he tried to get up was not fun. Specifically when he was just a few hours old. (Weak Kid Syndrome is the term used to described newborns who are unable to stand and or nurse -- regardless of cause. Floppy Kid Syndrome occurs when kids get too much milk. The condition is actually overeating on milk and will kill the kids if not immediately treated.)
