I could not agree more. I would add that taking away the enemys willingness to fight a war, and taking away his ability to fight a war both work very well. Does anyone believe that walking away and claiming credit for ending a war is even remotely akin to winning a war? The war in Iraq has certainly not ended; only US involvement. I believe that is called surrender, and is giving our enemies in Al Qaeda and ISIS one more feather in their cap as far as the islamic world is concerned. We have the capacity to knock down a few cities, so why not start with that. Theyll hate us Yeah, except for the fact that they ALREADY hate us Wars can be won or lost, but ended is not an option.
