I could not be happier to report to you guys that today one of our long time clients, volunteers and most importantly friends, Bill Haynie, is no longer a homeless man! He has been on the streets of Little Rock for the past 16(ish) years. On last Friday we were able to find and contact his step sister that he has not seen in 37 years. She immediately went online and purchased him a bus ticket to come live with her in TX and he left yesterday. As of mid morning today he is with her and no longer living on the mean and hard streets! It was a great day for us to see him go to live with family but hard as well as he was a great friend to Dennis Beavers and also to us. Underneath his gruff and streetwise exterior is a wonderful man with a heart for God and helping others. Please join us in wishing only the best for him and his sister as they enjoy life together.
