I could not post an update on SHINDIG until everything was in motion. After a delayed flight because of mechanical issues, Ronda Jones got on board and got to McAllen. At 5pm, I received a call from Ronda, letting me know that she had SHINDIG with her. He is out of the shelter. She was on her way back to the airport and taking the plane back to DFW. They are scheduled to land between 8:10 and 8:20pm. One of our volunteers will meet Ronda and pick up SHINDIG. He will be back in McKinney tomorrow morning! I am ecstatic! Thank you Ronda Sue Jones for calling me yesterday and offering to do this for SHINDIG. There are no words to express my gratitude!
