I could not resist sharing this with you. At first you may look at this stunning and say to yourself, what a nice picture of the Landmark. During my research years I found this beauty in NYC. This photo is actually the Loews 175th St. Theatre (1930) in Manhattan designed by Thomas W. Lamb along with our theatre (Loews State Theatre,1928) and another (Loews 72nd St. Theatre, 1932-1961). They used the same molds so all three had many similarities. The poor 72nd St. was demolished when it was only 29 years old......what a waste. The 175th St theatre you see here is now a church called United Palace. I plan on making a trip to see this and also the Loews Kings Theatre in Brooklyn which is being restored.
