I could totally do childrens books... I should start writing more again.... Once upon a time there was a mouse and a hare, trough thick and thin a bond they did share, like the time that the hare got caught in a snare, help! cried the critter, is anyone there!? The mouse heard his chum and rushed to his aid, dont worry old friend let me study how its made The mouse scurried along to find the snares release, almost got it now soon the worry will cease Hurry! The hare exclaimed, I hear farmer butch yes that was his name, old farmer Jake carried a rake trapping the animals for clothes he could make these were the words sung by all in woods, mouse please hurry hes up to no good With a snip n a scratch the mouse chewed through the bind, but farmer butch stood there looking at his find, the mouse and the hare knew they were done for, closing theyre eyes they thought they were no more, but the farmer was no crook he was a gentle soul, with a bright smile and eyes bright as gold, dont worry little critters I mean you no harm the farmer assured with his southern charm, the mouse and the hare stood with a confused stare why hes not mean at all said to the mouse to the hare. So things set strait the two pals carried on, with a new addition to the group farmer butch, lead on! - fin
