I couldnt write this down before this: Sad to report that Christmas day our extraordinary boxer King went to Heaven. He had testicular Cancer and survived for two years... He was running and happy and playing vigorously until just a handful of days before he passed. I kept him hydrated and comfortable. Christmas Eve (Knowing time was getting short) I made a bed for me from comforters, dragged my cpap machine on to the floor and slept cuddled with him. After he had passed, Napoleon would not leave his side.... He slept on him, beside him and kissed him for so long I had to pull him away.... We had a lovely ceremony with His Equine trail buddy Blue, his Son Prince William, His Love Star (Poodle), his buddy Napoleon and his human family and friends in attendance. I struggled through 3 verses of Amazing Grace as poor Star sat dazed.... King will forever be remembered as my dearest friend, Son and trained Service dog. He helped me climb stairs... Stood on stage with me and (I swear sang with us) in the Praise band at Church. And next to me in choir... He was and always will be loved by many beings of several species..... Rest with God King.... You truly are one.
