I cried when Siasia was sacked because he remained the best coach after Westerhoof but over discipline seems to be his problem.Keshis arrogance is the bane of his failure.If this is all it takes to go to the world cup,especially the inclusion of Shola Ameobi,I think I should have made that team also.Worldcup is not a tea party where you go and dance around.Serious minded teams that paraded their best players are at the mundial not to make up the numbers but to play the best of footaball.Even when Argentina dropped Carlos Tevez,they also paraded wicked front lines like Messi,Di Maria,Aguero,Lavezzi,Higuan,to mention but a few.Didier Deschamp dropped Samir Nasri and still paraded wicked front lines like Karim Benzema,Valbuena,Pogba,Oliver Giroud,to mention but a few.But considering the fact that Keshi can never get anything from Ike Uches match bonus,he dropped a superb&result oriented player like that dude and even went to the extent of dropping almighty Osaze if not that Nigerian fans agitated for such arrogant act.Now,Emenike was caged and the attack got paralysed,Onazi was taken out and the mildfield collapsed.When you look at Keshis bench,you cant even see anybody there but It was the bench that won the match for France.A team without a good bench never progress in any competition.Uche Kalu has a natural skills as a mildfielder that can break and turned around any defender,those were the kind of great players needed to have break down French or even Argentina.Obasi Chinedu is better than almost all the attackers except Osaze.Obafemi Martins would have been heard in Brazil,Sone Aluko very hot in Hull City,Haruna Lukman would have match Onazis place when he was injured.Ideye was far better than Shola Ameobi as far as football is concerned.Crop of players like Nosa Igierbor,Ike Uche,Obasi Chinedu,Uche Kalu,Sunday Mba,Obinna Nsofor were excluded just because they are not Keshis shop,while swaggles players like Gabriel Reuben,Shola Ameobi,Uchebo were included so as to boost Keshis income.NFF knows that Keshi can play the politics in Nigerian football,thats why they appointed him,if not any reasonable team that scrutinized Keshis bad record as a player wouldnt have given him a managerial role.A coach that selected a team where no one could play corner kicks and free kicks perfectly which are goal opportunities isnt a good boss.Joseph Yobos own goal shouldnt be criticized the more because its not a strange mistake in serious tournaments like this.Thats football for you,or is he not much better than Martin Skrtel that scored 4 own goals last season.SuperEagles problem wasnt Yobo nor the defence.Their defence suprised me the most in this mundial because there wasnt professional mistakes from that defence line.Yobo really committed his life in this tournament,but the Eagles problem remains the mildfield.Onazi was doing the job alone,then the SuperEagles worldcup hope ended when he was injured.I think Mikel should retire with Yobo before its too late.The guy is really playing football with jass and concotions,if not,how can a player that cannot dribble,play over 60% of his passes backward or diagonally,cannot score goals,can never hit a shot at goal,can never hold ball for some seconds to reduce pressure,then he is parading his football trade with a prestigious club like Chelsea.Something must be behind that.French players knows that Mikel is a foolish mildfielder,that Onazi was their biggest threat and so the instruction must have been given in the dressing room after the first half,that for them to proceed,they must get Onazi out of the way.Its really regrettable the way worldcup games are officiated,its always a one sided affair,that is,some teams are seen as FIFAs while others are used to complete the circle.They know that Onazi was a stumbling block for dem at that game and the only way out was to remove him by any means,whether dead or alive.If a Naija player had done a quater of those fouls,obviously he would be sent out.It was a planned attack on Onazi and it was disheartening too that the refree couldnt make the right call.Had it been a Nigerian player that committed that foul,it would have been a red card and six match ban.I wonder when FIFA will start treating Africans as human beings and not making a mess of themselves.For me,the refree of Nig v France is the man of the match because he played that ball with France.He was suprise seeing SuperEagles scoring against France and he dissalowed the goal.Anyway,I thought it was a Bosnias nemesis because their goal was dissalowed incorrectly also.But what do Africans expect when in a competition,there are Europeans,Asians,South Americans,North American,etc representatives,wheareas,no African representative.Yes,who have seen an African man officiate a worldcup match before?.If an African man cant officiate,then what do Africans expect from other refrees from other continent?Remember,these refrees are cartels that comes together to decide each match.
