I dare you to make a dietary compliance commitment. No more of just going through the motions and winging it at dinner. No more having some bites of this or that. If you have a plan, stick to it. If you started something then work on it. If it is hard then work through it! Commit to yourself 100%. You know you can, so stop making excuses and make it work. Remember your why and make the sacrifices necessary to see the changes. If you typically eat off plan once a week, then make a 10-14 day commitment. If you typically dont make it through the day, shoot for a week of no deviations. I recognize that it is a challenge, but it can be done. I personally like people to go at least 30 days of 100% compliance before ever taking a free meal. Even then I only encourage off plan eating for special occasions, vacations, or an occasional treat/mental break. It doesnt have to be like clock work. So many people get hung up on regular cheat meals or cheat days. It doesnt have to be that way if you are creative with your on plan food, have a good attitude toward your goals (instead of thinking a diet is a negative thing or some hunger is bad), and embrace fitness as a lifestyle. There are some people that can make progress taking regular free meals. If that is you then great! Take them, because the more food you can eat while still making progress is a definite positive. It isnt most people though. Fair? Nope, but its reality. Save your looser eating (built in free meals) for maintenance and building. Long stretches of compliance will pay off in the long run. You wont be sorry you put in the work. Start now. Coach Steph
