I decided that today was a good teaching day. Heres the thing. I never thought that my middle years would be challenged by something as trivial as socks. Thats right, socks! Not just any old socks, Ted Hose! For those of you who dont know, Ted Hose are socks for people with circulation problems. I am convinced that they were invented by the devil himself. Putting them on another person is like putting a small girdle on a 200 pound woman. I will leave the visual to you. It takes a great deal of strength to get them over the toes and the rest is pretty impossible, at least thats what I thought before a wonderful invention called the Walmart bag. Just cut a hole in a corner of the bag and insert foot. Pull said sock from satan over bag and pull gently while said sock slides easily over bag. After arriving at the knee, simply cut said bag off and dispose of. Sounds easy, but you wouldnt believe how long we did it the hard way. That would be the lesson for the day and an idea what my life is now like. Life would be so boring otherwise. God bless you, especially if you must deal with this same problem.
