I dedicate this song to my Mother! She in hospice status now and as tears fills my eyes I remember the good times (and yes, the back hand slaps I got as a teen), and the love I have in my heart for her. We had some rough times but she never, ever, gave up. and I will always remember her smile (and funny jokes), and her cooking. She never had a weight problem; eating from a small saucer (it would be refilled several times) was one way to keep her weight down. I am so happy that the love of her life came and for 50 plus year have been happy ones. Shes not gone but transitioning to the other side and I ask all your prayers for her tonight. Send up the light for her to follow and send back down to us. This is so hard (for those who have been through this) for me and my heart is truly breaking. I LOVE MY MOTHER FOREVER!
