I did it! I did it!! 215km over 2 days for an amazing cause! Amanda , Chad and I raised almost $14,000 for the Alberta Cancer Foundation. Together with 2,000 other riders we raised almost $8 million! What a truly amazing journey. It definitely was not without some ups and downs and Im not just talking about the insane hills! I fell....I cried...I had a bike issue...I cried...my knees hurt and I had a meltdown. With a lot of patience from my sister Amanda and a whole lot of smack from my brother Josh(relax...its cylclist speak for pushing another rider up a hill)...eventually I made it! Chad did amazing he finished the ride with enough time to take a nap before welcoming us at the finish! Our amazing parents Mona and Mounir Bichai were our biggest fans cheering us on the whole weekend! Seeing Farrah Mawani, Sabrina and Fil Szopiak and of course baby Avery at the finish was the cherry on top at the end of an epic adventure! Thanks again to everyone who supported us and donated!
