I did my first set of Fractals last night and had a BLAST. The first one we got was an underwater one and actually ended up okay. Two of our party got stuck in the darkness part with the light plants - they got bugged and couldnt respond so we had to take on the giant jellyfish boss guy with just three people and did it! After that, we had the giant statue that was chained to the tower. By far my favorite one of the night, it was so fun and epic. Then we had a dredge one with lots of fire, the boss at the end we had to pour lava on to weaken and damage it. This one was also lots of fine, requiring a good amount of teamwork. Finally, our boss was Captain Mai. We got her down to about 10% and then everyone wiped. On our second go around, we killed her just fine. Dodging those fire bombs reminded me of a lot of old-school games with the quick reactions and timing needed. Overall, it was a ton of fun. Obviously it was my first time so it was all fresh to me, but I appreciate how the Fractals force you to actually work together instead of using exploits like everyone does in the dungeons now for speediness. If you have not done any fractals yet, I highly recommend them!
