I did the DNA test through ancestry to find out if we have any native american as we suspected. Answer-zero. We are 96% european. breakdown is 45% irish,24% west European,10 % Great Britain ,6%italy/Greece, 5% East Europe, 4% Scandinavian, 3% west Asia (caucasus-kazikistan, iran, iraq,mongolia,afganistan all the stans!), 2% finland/northwest Russia. I also was put in contact with others in Ancestry who took the test and are related. 1 third cousin Christopher on the Franklin side said our 5th great grandfather Robert John Mansall is also Elvis Presleys 5th great grandfather which makes us 6th cousins to the King!!!! cool huh? aint nuthin but a hound dog....
