I didnt know how to weld or work with metal at all before I joined this place. I just finished welding this somewhat random thing together after cutting the parts from a sheet. It started out as a question about geodesic domes and became many possibilities. This is one possibility, and its mine in almost every way. And regardless of whether I or anyone else likes it... It represents, to me, that Im willing to simply try stuff. I used to buy into Yodas admonishment to young Luke... Try not. Do or do not. There is no try. Well heck, I finally realized that this works just fine if you happen to be training to be a Jedi and trying gets in the way of using something called the force but Im not a Jedi, the force isnt strong in me and I ... Dont know what Im going to be good at or what I will enjoy. So trying is really important, for crying out loud. I love Yoda but his advice doesnt suit most human beings, if any. Try!!! Fail!!!! Succeed!!! Discover!!! Its all good... unless there is no try, then theres nothing.
