I didnt post anything on our St Jude Bartonville run yet, as I was having a tougher time putting it into words this year. Here is a list I have been working on, all the while crying. 1. We have some of the most dedicated runners I have seen. They are truly inspirational. 2. My co-coordinator covers my rear end all year. We argue, always nicely, but we are a great team. We could not do this without him. 3. The Bartonville/Mapleton communities are so very supportive. Proud to see all the people standing outside cheering yesterday. 4. Bartonville Pd and Bartonville Fire Dept. I can only say thank you for your steadfast support, 3 years in a row. 5. Our volunteer group tirelessly continues to give their time so freely. 6. Family and friends helping every one of us make our goals.....thanks, again. THANK YOU for helping us to do our part. Our 2014 Bartonville St. Jude donation was $80,000. Speechless, in awe of all 2200 runners yesterday. And thankful to be a part of something so special. In the words of my dear friend Kathryn Vogel...heres to 2015 and triple digits. p.s. To our financial guru Ben Roberts...Sorry about the running jump yesterday!! :)
