I disagree when someone says that people who do X deserve to die or to go to hell. This is something I am seeing on Facebook a lot right now. I understand that some people commit crimes, some for reasons which I will never understand. But killing someone as punishment even for killing someone else just isnt right. Forget the fact that sometimes people get falsely convicted. You dont know the whole situation. Sometimes people kill people on accident. Thats not a crime; its a tragedy. And we shame those people for what they did, and they have to live with that on top of the guilt they feel for the situation they were dealt. And if you say Person X deserves to go to hell for doing Y, youre even worse. Someone committed ONE crime and that is justification for eternal suffering? That is a sick mindset. Thats not right, or fitting, or justice. Thats wrong. Its absolutely unfitting. Its wrath. I find it hard to take you seriously when you are talking about how awful a person is in your opinion and you find comfort in the idea that that is what theyll get. Sorry for letting my opinion spill onto Facebook. I just feel like theres not enough people saying it.
