I discovered during the past few years that theres a spirit in the community here, a sense of purpose like no other place in the Army. The Army is just learning about the spirit here at Fort Polk, but more importantly and more accurately, I think our nation is relearning what Fort Polk means to the Army, how vital it is to our national defense.
