I do A LOT of marital counseling. I get men and women telling me that they love their spouse, but they are no longer in love with their spouse. I say, What does that mean? They claim they fell out of love. I usually respond with, Did you hurt yourself when you fell? Truth is, you were never in love with your spouse, but rather in lust. Love is epitomized in this video. It does not begin with loving your spouse, but with loving God more than anything else in life. God created love and teaches us how to love like His Son, who died for my sins. Paying the price for the sins of someone else is the greatest love. If your spouse cant communicate to your liken, carry them in the marathon of life and show them how to communicate with love. If your spouse doesnt crank your tractor anymore, then gas them up and recharge their battery with your amazing love for them. You CAN do all things through Christ Who strengthens you. (Philippians 4:13) FALL head-over-heels in love with CHRIST and you will become love too. Jesus said, If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow Me. (Luke 9:23) Quit worrying about yourself!!! Deny yourself and start serving God. Help people that do not know love learn how to love Gods way, like this father did with his son. The only way he could truly love his crippled son was to die to himself first and consider his son more important than was he. (Philippians 2:3)
