I do bite back, if bitten. Would you buy that t-shirt? Walking around lately and seeing a t-shirt blaring: You Cant Sit With Us, and how does one get ones head around that? Not just a single sighting! Many sightings and it smarts of bullying. So much press is dedicated these days to anti-bullying. Beginning with the schoolyard and all parents seemingly doing their best to trounce out Bullying, and leading to thoughts of Worldwide Bullying from nations and peoples and individuals, this slogan is very disturbing. You Cant Sit With Us is angry, segregationist, closed-minded and ridiculous. With that sentiment put forth, one can be assured of sitting alone. Is that the goal? To huddle together with only the like-minded, those weve known always, with no room for a spark of Verve? Viva? Groups can be welcoming and comforting. Groups can be exclusive and off-putting. Group thought is Powerful. Of what thoughts shall we collectively think? Well, You Can Sit With Us, here. Bring your mind and your ideas and tell us what you believe. Let us have a dialogue. Let us discourse and share what we know, what weve learned to be True in our travels. Let us be sweet and kind, with open ears. Let us learn from one another and know that we are not weak to be kind. We are not weak that we dont make war. We are not weak, we are Joyful and full of love. If bitten, we will bite back but please - no biters. ~ Joy Before
