I do like sci-fi and BBC TV. Today I completed the half marathon commitment to the 50th Anniversary of Doctor Who Virtual Run/Walk. While my daughter, Julianne, was taking horseback riding lessons today. I ran the country roads with some nice hills along the way of North Plains, OR. I ran to get to 13.1 but I ended up going over the mileage totally 14.21 miles. Ooops! LOL! It truly was a fun time to run this event because I am a huge Dr. Who fan since I was a little girl. That was in the days when Tom Baker was the fourth Dr. Who. Now I’ve seen all the new Dr. Who’s that have come and gone like Christopher Eccleston (9th doctor), David Tennant (10th doctor) and now Matt Smith (11th doctor). Did you know that Christopher Eccleston is a runner too? He runs marathons and likes fast cars. He rocks! Needless to say the running event was a Whovian Amazing Experience and made for an Amazing Day!
