I do not appreciate the way that the touch pad of laptops has evolved. What happened to the simple interface from the beginning? A touch surface for the mouse movement and two separate buttons for the right and left click. But no, that wasnt good enough. We are going to now make the buttons part of the touch sensor as well, so that when you attempt to click, theres a good chance you will slip off of what you intended to click on. Now, lets take away the borders for the buttons, so that you cant distinguish where on the pad you are without looking at it. As an added bonus this now makes the entire surface area susceptible to everything from pressure to heart beat, gentle breezes, and temperature change. And just when we have pushed you to the limits of your medication with all the inadvertent clicks and unexpected drag & drops, we are now going to make the entire surface, right/left click as well, ONE HUGE BUTTON. So as you are fumbling with simple efforts such as moving the mouse pointer to the left side of your screen, try not to press too hard on the pad-that-has-now-become-the-reason-for-your-anger-management-classes.
