I do not ask my non muslim friends to wear a hijaab or grow a beard and wear a prayer hat to prove that they are not Islamophobic ... So what is with the urging BRITISH Muslims to wear a poppy hijaab to prove we are not extreme. Not that the prejudice will disappear within a day and neither do I approve of paying lip service. War veterans I believe do not see a penny from these poppy appeals but goes to the current armed forces and as I am a pacifist I do not agree with the war or the interventions that have been established. I also have friends that have served in the Army and I can genuinely tell you that their hearts and their beliefs are contrary to what most think, most of them are oblivious to the pawn they have been made to become in this global political game. And yes there are also many that have right wing fascists views but again they are the love child of democracy and ignorance. In a nutshell I will NOT buy a poppy and neither will I buy a poppy hijaab because I am furious at the little benefit the current forces have made and angered at the amount of time they have had which has subsequently milked the resources of the very same country they have gone to. But also... I will not condone ANYONE who will comment extreme and narrow views regarding the forces. I will delete pathetic comments !!
