I do not believe my tupuna were monkeys. Nor do I attack those who believe that whakaaaro. I believe that Tane seperated Rangi and Papa, then created whenua, awa, fish, bird, animal, tree and mauri (life force.) I believe that i whakapapa directly back to the whenua.
