I do not do this allot.. but wanted to remind you of why we Pay for and Set up Photo Shoots (some people in the shoot do Volunteer...and we are thankful), Why we loan out our gowns to some Photographers, and why we spend money to make the Haute Couture Gowns. We started this journey because Rescues desperately need cash to run their operations. Most AKC Breed Rescues, run on Foster Care Programs with the Rescue handling all Medical Bills. Many of us in larger Metropolitan areas such as Houston see the Shelters are begging people to come and adopt for $5 they can not handle all of the dogs entering their doors. Rich and I have been doing rescue for 11 years. We wanted to find a unique way that we could help raise awareness of this dire situation and help raise funds. I started down the path of making gowns to sell .. People in todays world want a gift for a donation... I wish that were not the truth .. but it is. So started the Journey. This is the most difficult path I have ever taken... EVER... being an inventor with 20 patents in Mobile Technology was not as hard has this has been. My path has been filled with so many disappointments... to the point of despair... We have met some wonderful people who have helped pick me up, dust me off, and get me moving forward again. I have wanted to give up with some of the most eye opening glance into the darkness of mankind. Never did I ever imagine the dept of some of our Rescue friends that are so selfless and helpful..wonderful, kind .. As you can guess, there are others out there that have other motives. Our goal has not been to promote ourselves. I told Mia Bradley with KHOU in our interview, I do not care if I am ever mentioned in a CREDIT, an STORY, a FACEBOOK POST, nothing.. it is not about me... it is about RESCUE and helping RESCUE. The only reason we do give credits, most publications require it, and a link is necessary to sell the gowns for rescue benefit. So .. if you have ever been at one of our shoots.. after publication, you can post to your hearts content all the behind the scenes images you took... you never need to mention us... but you must mention the Dog Rescue. They need you more than ever now... I am not perfect... far from it.. but .. I am passionate when it comes to helping dogs. I have learned that most people that come to participate at our shoots do not share the same level of passion... but they are just being who they are... My biggest love and supporter is my husband Richard Sepcic.. Rich has believed in the project.. he has given almost $80,000 to this project to raise awareness with little return and few thanks (with exception of myself, the Rescues and a few other friends) I have wanted to give up several times, but he helped me keep going in the darkest moment. Today is one of those moments. I want to just toss this project, and forget it, try to rebuild our financial situation... and never .. ever.. think about this project that so few believe in. But .. somehow we will keep trying...
