I do not know the full story nether supporting anyone. However, this is a phenomenon that has been happening in so many Ethiopian churches. It is a sad story for anyone to see this kind of politics in a religious place. If a fair and honest election cannot be achieved to serve as a religious leader, how do we elect someone where personal benefits are so high? To me, the religious leaders are the one to be blamed for all of this chaos. They lost their value which is to serve God not to acquire wealth by organizing groups who can support their views. This is Shame. As an Ethiopian, I am embraced by it. I have a question to everyone. If a fair election cannot be achieved for a position that as far as I know has no compensation, how is possible to elect someone to lead a country especially in Africa where they get wealthier after they become elected through corruption??? What are we teaching the next generation of Ethiopians “our kids” to follow our footsteps??? Let us wake up and put stop to this madness. It is disgusting and embarrassing. It is a church, divine, place not a political stadium. For heaven sack STOP.
