I do not like to make announcements about my families life on facebook but to counter a statement already made and a lot of judgemental comments made I feel like I need to. Jordan Perry and Tyler Trotter are the proud parents of healthy happy children. I became involved in helping them parent when they both made a lot bad choices in their young lives as a result I had custody of their children for a year. The youngest wasnt a year old and their son was 2. Jordan spent a year of her life working hard to get her kids back and the court made her jump through every hoop. These things included inpatient treatment constant parenting classes regular drug screens and having a job and providing a home that she could live in with her children. I took her 9 months to get unsupervised visitation and and 3 more months to get legal custody. We celebrated this with pride as young single mother she struggled and hasnt always had the best luck with jobs and lets face it parenting is about doing the best you can and loving your children. The kids are 5 and 6 now and a handful Tyler came into their life a little over a year ago and has excelled at being a father. His story about his struggles are his own not mine to talk about. I have been very proud of him. His relationship with my daughter and their inability to speak to each other creates a huge problem. The children are safe and loved and well look after I would not allow anything to happen to them. I see them almost daily and I am still a large part of their life. Do not judge someone on a statement made by someone else. Tyler and Jordan are both good parents to their children. They are not good at getting along. Maybe one day this will happen.
