I do not like to use FB to complain but... I know some of you use MTN as service provider, so see this as a warning if you use MTN: I signed for a 24-month 2Gb @ R148pm data contract roughly 2 years ago. The first month after the contract term ran out, they invoiced me for R398! No typo here, R398! Their current single purchase price for 2Gb data is a very expensive R258. So why charge a customer that has an expiring contract such a ridiculous rate? Added to that, when I (obviously!) phoned them to cancel this contract they casually told me that the data will fall away immediately but my next debit order, which is still a full calender month away will still go off and there is nothing I can do about it. Not cool MTN, not cool.
