I do not like to write about politics but I must comment on one subject being discussed today. Everyone is up in arms about there being no funding for the NIH ( national Health Institute). That kids that need cancer trials will not get them. This is terrible, but let me mention to you that less that 5% of all the funding from the NIH goes to children! Our government invests less than 5% of the money for research and clinical trials on children. Shame on all of you in Washington for once again using children to tug at our heart strings, but not actually supporting the effort to cure their diseases.
