I do not understand the appeal of most female beauty or fashion trends. Fake tan, hair extensions, stiletto nails, six-inch heels... I only ever wear that kind of stuff as part of a costume. Am I a terrible excuse of a woman and do these things have some sort of desired effect? Or do women just cause themselves pain and awkwardness for little to no reason? I would love a male perspective as well as a females on what beauty modifications mean to you, individually. What are your preferences and why?
