I do not understand why KyivPost is publishing such biased pieces of propaganda. There were only about 2000 (!) people at the pro-Russian meeting, in a city with the population of 450 thousands. Last Sunday, there was a 2000-large pro-Ukrainian demonstration on the same spot, but it ended up in a mess because pro-Russian thugs attacked and beat those who carried Ukrainian national symbols. My sixty-three year-old father was beaten as well, so this Sunday nobody came to oppose the separatists. Most of people in Lugansk are apolitical and simply want to stay safe.What about interviewing a couple of such people for the article, or Lugansk inhabitants who do not see their land as tied with Russia? I, who grew up in that city, for one, strongly disagree with this notion. So do my parents who still live there. I had much more respect for KyivPost standards of journalism and I am deeply disappointed that it became a tool of Ukrainian separatists.
