I dont agree... Guess we all have different experiences but one thing I will say is that as Canadians we are are used to working side by side and respecting each other and playing our strengths. That is team work. It is also a mature mindset and 21 years of working my ass off and earning that respect. I was the only woman attached with an infantry company in Afghanistan for the majority of my tour and though I was combat support I was in combat! Mortars, rockets and bullets, IEDs exploding. Soldiers wounded and dying... I would not knock the efforts many great woman who have been there and done that and proven themselves worthy as combat arms. Talking ourselves down is by far the first problem. But hey... This is MY perspective! We (woman) most certainly CAN... BUT... Be able to do the job well (you dont have to be the best... But you must be good enough! though) Now... Im sure many will say not all can do it... Yes your right... Knowing our strengths and abilities is key just dont sell yourself short especially if you are able... !!!
