I dont believe in a holiday that causes people to feel stressed about money they dont have, buy crap for kids that half of them dont deserve because they are brats all year long and dont know the meaning of no and besides....I sincerely doubt that Jesus understands how we jumped from him to a fat dude in a red suit. I feel that all true meaning of the holiday is lost on most people and it is nothing but a fight over which store can make the most money. Little old ladies smack you with their purse to try to get the toy their grandchild wants more than anything and God forbid that the little brat be disappointed and learn the life lesson that you dont always get what you want. Yes, Im a bit of a grump. Im tired of watching people starve and huddle in the cold and people struggling to pay their bills and feel pressured by this season. It isnt right. Love should come daily. Money has nothing to do with it and gifts should come from the heart, all year long - not from Macys on December 25th.
